| One of the amazing thing about the faculty here at CMI is how dedicated they are to both education in general and the Marshallese specifically. For instance, two of our faculty, Gary and Bob, read to local children at the Alele museum each Saturday morning. No one asked them to do this. They just go, and the kids show up. Many Marshallese do not have books at home, so for most of these kids, this is the only time outside of school that they have someone reading to them. | ||
