The Whole Story

  A storm on the lagoon

One of the neat things about the lagoon is that you can see approaching weather patterns. One stormy afternoon I watched the rains come in over the lagoon. It started off as a gray horizon that crept slowly towards us. We could mark how far away it was by watching the gray hit the various ships in the lagoon. Unlike Ohio storms, rain here sweeps through quickly, but usually lasts only a few minutes.
